Privacy Policy
Effective November 1, 2026
Jelly Kettle ("we", "us") makes web games playable at jellykettle.com. This policy explains what information we collect when you play or create an account, how we use it, and the choices you have.
What we collect
- Guest play. You can play without an account. Your browser stores a random guest identifier and your game progress locally. When a game first needs our servers (for example, to save progress online), we create a guest account linked to that identifier.
- Account information. If you sign in, we store your email address. If you use Google or Discord, we also receive the name, profile picture, and account identifier that the provider shares, and the access tokens the sign-in process issues. We do not show your provider name or picture to other players.
- Display name. A public name for leaderboards. We generate one for you, and you can change it.
- Game data. Saved progress and scores you submit.
- Session and security data. For each signed-in session we store the IP address and browser user agent, so we can protect accounts and prevent abuse.
How we use it
- To provide the games: keeping you signed in, saving your progress, and showing leaderboards.
- To send sign-in links you request. We do not send marketing email.
- To prevent abuse, such as spam, automated sign-ups, and cheating.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not show ads on jellykettle.com.
Cookies and local storage
We use cookies only to keep you signed in. They are essential and are not used for tracking. Games store guest identifiers and progress in your browser's local storage.
Service providers
We rely on Cloudflare to host the site, store data, send sign-in emails, and run Turnstile, a check that helps tell people from automated traffic. If you choose to sign in with Google or Discord, that provider processes your sign-in under its own privacy policy. Some of these providers may process data outside your country.
Retention and deletion
- Sessions expire after 90 days without use.
- You can delete your account at any time from your account page. This permanently deletes your account, sessions, saves, and leaderboard entries.
- We may delete guest accounts that have been inactive for a long time.
Children
Our games are not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child under 13 has created an account, contact us and we will delete it.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or export your information, or to object to how we use it. Most of this is available from your account page. For anything else, contact us.
Changes
If we change this policy, we will update the effective date above. For significant changes, we will give notice on the site.
